I came across a discussion thread on the IWR6843 regarding shield clearances to the RF traces, 2mm was given as the "figure of merit" value in the appnote spracp3c.pdf (page 17, section 5.3.2.1). I am currently using the LMX2595 in a design, and was wondering if TI had any recommendations regarding shield clearance to the RF traces, or the IC package? We are using a microwave absorber material (non-conductive silicon absorber such as Laird Eccosorb BSR/MFS), 0.010" to 0.020" thickness to dampen cavity resonances within the shield. Thank you for any recommendations you can provide.
