I found and downloaded 2 ibis models for the LMK04832,

lmk04832_industrial.ibs

and lmk04832_sp.ibs

and neither one has a differential output in it. I only see single ended outputs. I am using Sigrity simulation tools and need to simulated my board layouts traces using the LMK differential output model.

Hi,

LMK04832 and LMK04832-SP ibis models do support differential outputs. Here, you can choose any of the output format supported by the device.

Please let me know, if you see any further discrepancy.

If so then the files must not be compatible with the Sigrity tool set from Cadence. I am going to send the files to Sigrity and see what they say. Thanks for your response.

I looked through the text files and do not see a DIFF_PIN definitions needed to be able to simulate differential pins from an IBIS model. It is supposed to appears shortly after the PIN list in the IBIS file, I see no such declaration in these files.

Hi John,

May be there is an definition not exact. But to use it differential pin for simulation, you can use any format with two pin symbol and can take differential output.
