LMK00804B: How is slew rate ( rise and fall time) optimized?

Part Number: LMK00804B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVCH8T245, LMK00804

Hello, It would be really helpful if I learn how was slew rate ( rise and fall times) of the output signal improved, in other words slew rate being increased compared to previous level shifters of TI. Especially at low voltages ( 1.6V- 1.8V).

Previous level shifter releases include SN74LVCH8T245 etc...

  • Hi Chandan,

Level shifter is belong to another product line in TI, our team (LMK00804) is focusing on clock and timing device.

My best guess for the slew rate difference between products is they use different material to build, their design is different and their current consumption is different.

I am not a chip designer, that's all I can think of.
