According to our customer, they are working with CDCI6214 in one of their application. The input to their device is an HCSL signal. Section 9.2.2.of the datasheet states that "For HCSL output buffer format, optimize the signal integrity and slew rate at the receiver input using a series resistor between device pin and the 50 Ω termination to GND."
He would like to know if there is any input AC coupling and biasing need on the input of their device or it will work fine if it the input is directly fed into CDCI6214 with AC coupling and without any biasing.
