Hello team,

I received a questions from the customer.

There is an input requirement for OSCin on p.8. Are there any specifications regarding the input signal format (CMOS or square wave) and input signal level?

Hi Masa,

the input signal should not exceed the specs on page 8. A square wave is typically better for jitter. But you can input CMOS, or differential clocks. Sine waves depends on slewrate and frequency.

Hi Masa,

my bad, i did confuse the part numbers with LMK03806.

For the LMK00306 OSCin, you can drive it with a square wave signal following this schematic:

Input swing should not exceed the specs listed for CLKinX
