CDCE72010: EVM board EEPROM Unlocked mode

Using the EVM board, program with EEPROM unlocked mode. To drive U1 PWR_EN driving low.

When change to external 5v supply, the value doesn't hold on. The U1 PWR_EN goes high.

Any recommended solution ?

Hi Sheng,

CDCE72010 requires a 3.3 V external supply.

For programming the device, USB alone will suffice. When you say you change to an external 5 V supply, what was the supply being used before the switch?

Referring to CDCE72010EVM board, there is connection for USB supply and also the AUX supply. The primary programming is done using the USB supply. To continue use the board with 5V AUX supply to the EVM board.

Hi Sheng,

It requires a 3.3 V supply. You might need to rework the EVM board if you're disconnecting the USB cable and then running off external power supply only.
