LMX2595EVM: EVM board issue

Did you see this problem with the previous chip? 

No , the previous chip was fine , but it went bad during testing,  and later when new chip was assembled, this new issue started

If I assume you use 100MHz reference clock and EVM default configuration but change the output to 4GHz, there should not be any spurs as it is an integer channel.

Are you using different configuration?

Yes at 4GHz I see things are clean, ok let me recheck my config one more time

For 100MHz ref clock I am using a EVM which gives clock and SPI control with GUI options, I am assuming it is 100 only 

sorry one mistake , the offset and spurs were seen at 5GHz , and 4GHz tone was always clean

Hi Ankit,

Could you try, after locking to 4GHz, write R2[10]=0 ? This will stop the internal state machine clock. Another thing to try is, if you have OSC_2X = 1, try with 0.
