LMX2572LPEVM: Is it possible to save a new .tcs file with PLLATINUMSIM-SW?(PLLATINUMSIM-SWで.tcsファイルに新規保存することは出来ますか?)

Part Number: LMX2572LPEVM
I want to check the design of PLLATINUMSIM-SW with LMX2572LPEVM.
LMX2572LPEVM is controlled by TICSPRO-SW.
TICSPRO-SW requires a .tcs file.
However, I couldn't find a way to save the PLLATINUMSIM-SW design to a new .tcs file.
I believe the attachment is how to add to an existing .tcs file.

  • Hello,

I believe the "Interface with TICSPro --> Add Filter to TICSPro File" function is supposed to modify an existing .tcs file by appending the PLLatnium filter information to it. I don't think it is possible to create a new .tcs file because PLLatinum does not handle the configuration and register information that TICS Pro works with. A possible workaround is to create a copy of an existing .tcs file and then add the filter to it.

    Best,

    Evan Su

  • Hi There,

Click Interface with TICSPro --> Load TICSPro File will load the .tcs configuration file that was generated from TICS Pro. After loading this file to PLL Sim, the configuration (such as N-divider, output frequency, charge pump current, etc) in PLL Sim will be identical to TICS Pro.

Click Interface with TICSPro --> Add Filter to TICSPro File will add the loop filter information to a .tcs file. You will see additional script at the end of the .tcs file.

Unfortunately, I've just found out that this function is not working, maybe you are seeing the same problem.

Attached exe file has this issue fixed, please download it and replace the original exe file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\PLLatinumSim

change the extension from .exe1 to .exe.

    TIPLLatinumSim.exe1
