CDCVF2509: What is difference point between CDCVF2509 and CDCVF2509A?

Part Number: CDCVF2509

Hello guys,

One of my customers uses CDCVF2509A for their current mass-production.

Recently, this CDCVF2509A was EOLed.
So they are going to replace CDCVF2509A with CDCVF2509.
At this moment, they have the following questions.
Could you please give me your reply?

Q1.
What is difference point between CDCVF2509 and CDCVF2509A?
Is it input signal frequency range only?

Q2.
Can they replace CDCVF2509A with CDCVF2509 if their input signal range is 50MHz~175MHz?

Your reply would be much appreciated.

Best regards,
Kazuya.

  • Kazuya,

    1. The CDCVF2509A had minor improvements to the CDCVF2509 like the wider operating frequency, slightly improved performance, and power down mode.  There were no major changes.

    2. Yes, they can replace with the CDCVF2509, as it is pin to pin compatible.  Please just double check all of the operating conditions with the datasheet, but yes the two should be compatible.
