Hi Forum

We have a CDCE6214 on a PCB providing among others the CPU clock.

That means during board testing at the PCB manufacturer we have to programm once the CDCE6214 from external source over some testpoints attached to the I2C bus as the onboard CPU does not work at that time (because of the missing clock).

For the prototypes we used an Arduino as USB to I2C converter and a Matlab script for that purpose.

Is there a more professional solution from TI or some third party company to do this in series production by the PCB manufacturer?

Your TICSPRO-SW together with the USB2ANY interface is described as to be used just with the EVMs or not?

    The TICS Pro software is usable for programming devices on an EVM, but not as much for a production environment.

    Once you have an EEPROM file available, there are third party programming companies, such as Arrow, that can perform the custom programming on a larger scale for production.
