LMX2430: Precautions when using LMX2430 to replace SX1243

Hi,

No replacements for SX1243 were hit in cross-reference of TI. Therefore, I selected LMX2430 as a replacement, but will there be any concerns?

Hi Conor,
LMX2572LP would be an equivalent part given the competitor part has an integrated VCO, the part you're considering, LMX2430 is just a PLL .

Hi Vicente,

Looking at the datasheet, it seems that there is no built-in VCO. Is LMX2430 the most recommended product?

Hi Conor,
There is internal VCO.

But you're correct - there is no mention of a VCO in the DS which is a bit odd...
