The difference between LMK5B33414RGCR and LMK5B33414RGCR-S1 is whether there is IEEE1588-PTP software support, what is the use of this function, and why ICs without this function are more expensive.

    Hi Boyan, 

    That's correct, the -S1 part numbers include a license to use the Oregano IEEE1588-PTP software stack.

    I believe the pricing for the -S1 variants should be higher compared to the standard version. If you'd like, I can put you in contact with our marketing team to discuss pricing.
