LMK5B33216: HCSL Output pin state when disabled

Hello team,

I have a question about LMK5B33216 HCSL output.

When disabled, I would like the device output to be fixed state, such Positive is High and Negative is Low.

However, I think the device output 0V for both Pos/Neg pin when disabled.

Is there any good way to achieve this?

Hi Taketo,

The ability to set the individual P and N as high or low is only available on OUT0 and OUT1 when the CMOS buffer is enabled. The other outputs can only be set to disabled (P and N are 0V).

P and N are 0V, not high-Z, so external circuit such as pull-up/pull-down to fix its state when disabled also doesn't work, correct?

Hi Taketo,

That is correct. The disabled state is not HI-Z so the pull-up/pull-downs would not work.
