Hello,

My customer has some questions about the LMK03806.

Q1. LMK03806 has charge pump gain adjustment options as below. What difference does each setting value make to the PLL operation or environment?

 Q2.What is the frequency tolerance for the Reference input of LMK03806 to ensure the desired output frequency?

    1. Please refer to these lines in the datasheet with regard to the charge pump current:

    2. The datasheet states that the reference input can be between 1MHz and 500MHz (production tested up to 200MHz). If the PLL is locked to a frequency, then it will track the reference frequency so long as the resulting VCO frequency is within the acceptable range (2.37GHz to 2.6GHz).
