Hi team,
Do we have recommendation of LMK6C output resistor value? customer tried different values and found different overshoot. thanks.
Best regards,
Yang

Hi Yang,
Generally a series resistor in the range of 17-33 Ohms is used for an LVCMOS driver. Some of the overshoot / ringing that they're seeing could also be from the probe setup. If they need very accurate overshoot measurements, I would recommend using a shielded coax cable (like SMA) and using a high bandwidth scope / probe (probably at least 500MHz for a 25MHz clock signal). If they're measuring the clock output in their system, they should also be sure they're probing as close as possible to the receiver side.

Connor
