LMK61A2-100M: Support and review of LMK61A2 Oscillator

Hi,

Kindly review the above Schematics and provide feedback. LMK61A2 is connected to LMX2582RHAT PLL.

Instead of two 49.9 Ohm resistors (R5641, R5706), Can we use a single 100 ohm Differential termination resistor between P/N of oscillator ? If so where do we have to place the 100 ohm resistor near the oscillator or near the PLL?  I have attached an SCH image FYR.

    Hi Narender, 

    LMK61A2 uses an LVDS output format, so instead of 50 Ohm terminations you can use a 100 Ohm differential termination close to the LMX2582 inputs. The termination should be close to the receiver to help minimize reflections. Besides that, I think everything else in the schematic looks good.
