CDCM61004: Crystal input circuit design

Part Number: CDCM61004

Tool/software:

Hi team,

The manual describes that crystal is connected to the chip XIN at one end and the other end is grounded. Are there any detailed design references and precautions for this part of the circuit? I saw this formula, but I don’t understand how it should correspond to the schematic design? How should the peripheral circuit be configured?

Thanks

Lillian

  • Lillian,

The schematic for the evaluation module offers a reference example:

Ensure that you have a total capacitance (parasitic + physical capacitors) that matches the recommended capacitance specified by the crystal vendor.

    Thanks,

    Kadeem
