LMX2592: OSCin Clarifications

Hi Team, 

looking at the max abs values from the LMX2592 DS: 

 

We can see that the max voltage on OCin is 1.8Vpp, however in the example under 7.3.1:

The voltage swing is 2Vpp, am i reading this correctly? 

What will be the typical requierd Vpp for OSCin? 

also, i can see that when VCC = 0V then the OSCin should be less than 1Vpp, what is the meaning here? cant i input a clock signal without VCC on the LMX device?
