LMX2592: The voltage issue of the VbiasVCO pin of LMX2592

Part Number: LMX2592

During my testing, I found that the voltage at the VbiasVCO pin of LMX2592 was 0.26V, while the voltage at VbiasVCO2 was 0.7V. I'm not sure if this is correct, and I'm also curious if this will cause the phase-locked loop to lose lock or lead to other abnormal phenomena. Therefore, I would like to ask what the voltage should be for these two pins when the phase-locked loop is in a normal locked state.

  • Hi Ziyi,

    Using TICS Pro default configuration, I got the following pin voltages after programming the device to lock.

    VREGIN = 1.229

    VREFVCO = 2.837

    VREGVCO = 2.018

    VREFVCO2 = 2.846

    VBIASVCO = 0.966 (0.27 after power on without programming)

    VBIASVCO2 = 0.651

    VBIASVARC = 1.532
