LMK04832: Is LMK04832 a drop‑in replacement / pin‑compatible with LMK04828

Part Number: LMK04832
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04828, , LMK04826

Hello TI Team, I am currently using the LMK04828 in my design (WQFN-64, 9×9 mm package).
Due to availability and performance considerations, I am evaluating the LMK04832 as a potential replacement.
Before finalizing this change, I would like to confirm the following:
1. Is LMK04832 truly pin-to-pin compatible with LMK04828, using the same 64-pin WQFN footprint? 2. Are there any PCB layout differences, thermal pad requirements, or pin-function changes I need to be aware of?
3. Functionally, aside from the known differences in VCO ranges, output divider ranges, and PLL capabilities, is there anything that would prevent a seamless replacement?
4. Are there any recommended design modifications or register configuration differences when migrating from LMK04828 to LMK04832? I have reviewed the datasheets and noted that LMK04828 and LMK04826 are stated as pin-compatible with LMK04832, with only minor VCO range differences. This information comes from a TI E2E response indicating that LMK04828/26 are pin-compatible with LMK04832. However, I would like to reconfirm this officially before committing to a redesign.
Any clarification you can provide would be very helpful. Thank you!
