Question about LMV112

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMV112

Hi,

I have some questions about LMV112.

1)  I have a plan to disribute LPC clock (33MHz single end) from mother board to two lines.  Above connection is correct?

2)   On the datasheet of LMV112, it is described Ccoupling is 1nF.  Can you please advise me why capacitance is fix to 1nF.  Is there no need to adjust capacitance under the working conditions?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Hide,

I have forwarded your request to the applications team responsible for the product support of LMV112. You will hear from them shortly.

  • The schematic seems correct to me, this setup activates continuously both outputs. About your question of the 1nF input capacitor: this capacitor is needed due to the internal bias voltage of about Vs/3. The value of 1nF is not critical but must be adequate to pass the used frequency. Hope this answers your questions.

At the end of the data sheet there is a special paragraph about the input configuration and the biasing. see the paragraph 'INPUT CONFIGURATION' on page 13 of the data sheet.
