i whish to use the TPL5000 to use it as a watchdog for 500 seconds

can i do this without an external CPU how do i use Factor N in the datasheet

Hi Jacob,

The max cycle time of TPL5000 is 64 seconds. I recommend TPL5010 as an alternative, which can be set up to 7200 seconds. You can set the timer interval using an external resistor value.
