LMX2572EVM: Reference Pro of the LMX2572EVM Board not detected by TICS PRO Software

The Reference PRO Oscillator (LMK61PD0A2 ) is generating a proper oscillator signal for the LMX2572EVM (100MHz by default), but the LMX2572EVM is not generating any Output Signal (3GHz by Default).
I connected everything as it is described in the "LMX2572EVM Evaluation Instructions" (100 MHz LVPECL Clock, USB connected, 3.3V Supply, ribbon cable, RF etc.). The LEDs "MSP430 Supplied" and "LMK61xx Supplied" are on.
The Oscillator should be detected by the TICS Pro Software after connecting it via USB. TICS Pro indicates there is no Device Connected though (also when clicking on "USB Communication" -> "Interface" ->"USB2ANY"). After connecting the Oscillator to the computer, the Software should detect it and and ask for a Firmware update, which it doesn't.
In the Device Manager the MSP430 registers as HID with VID=2047 and PID=200. As VID and PID values are as described in “MSP430™ Flash Device Bootloader (BSL)” SLAU319S, page 7, I assume the MSP430 lost its FW and starts like a virgin device in boot mode.
Does anyone know that issue?

    This issue sounds like it is with the reference pro board; it has nothing to do with the LMX2572 board that is driven by reference pro.
    There is no communication between the LMX2572 and the reference pro board.

    I was pretty sure that we programmed these boards before we shipped them out, so I'm not surprised it's not asking for the firmware update. A few thoughts I have are:

    1. Make sure that there is no other TICSPro open. If you have multiple TICSPro open, then only one will interface with the USB2ANY. You might want to make sure with the Task manager that there is no rogue TICSPro process running.

    2. Does this work on another computer? Maybe this is related to a driver issue.

    3. As a last resort, you can start TICSPro, hold down the black button, and then TICSPro will see it and program it. Note that TICSPro does not tell you to let go of the button after you connect it, but you should. However, I caution that this should be a last resort as there is a chance that you might mess up the USB2ANY when trying to program it (or at least this has happened to me when I forgot to let go of the button).

    thanks for the quick response. There is only one TICSPro and no other TI Software running. I tried it on 3 different Computers, none of the TICSPros detects the Reference Pro board.
    I tried the option with holding down the black button while plugging in the USB cable. TICSPro does not show any reaction to this though. Maybe I messed up the USB2ANY by unintentionally pressing the Firmeware Update button in the first attempt?

    When you first connect the Ref PRO to a PC, did the PC install driver automatically?
