LMK03328EVM: No output signals at the output ports

Part Number: LMK03328EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CODELOADER, TICSPRO-SW

Hello,

My customer is testing the eval board now and having issues of getting no output out of the output ports.  The figure below shows a high level of  what the EVM is connected to.

The board is in the factory default mode, i.e., the customer haven’t made any hardware or software changes on it.

The green “USB” LED and the three other green LEDs (VDD, VDDO and LDOIN) are glowing.  The customer has implemented in the codeloader “38.4”, the frequency of the TCXO connected at the PRIREF_P input and has been able to fully characterized the TCXO;  which works fine.

Are there other things that need to be implemented to make the eval board work?  The customer is following the User’s Guide steps is there anything additional steps that is needed.

I have more information the I can PM to help with support.

Thank you for your support!

  • They factory default mode requires a different input frequency to get the PLL to lock.  The outputs will not be enabled until the PLL is locked.  They should use software to configure the device for their specific frequency configuration.  They can use TICSPRO-SW (newer programming software) or CodeLoader (legacy software).
