LMX2531: Lock Status of LMX2531

Dear Team,

We have observed in multiple boards the below scenario: Even though the Output from LMX2531 IC is not available, Lock status shows high. The lock status is high even in normal condition when the output frequency is available. May i know the reason for the same?

The plan is to use the lock status to reprogram the LMX2531 if output is not available.

Hi Sachin,

What did you mean of "output is not available"? Did you want to say unlock? What triggered the unlock?

Yes, After programming the LMX2531, even though the programmed frequency output is not available, the LD status is showing high. In some cases, the frequency is off by around 30MHz. These 2 cases are observed in only few cases & these issues are coming randomly. If power rest is given & re-programmed, the programmed output is available correctly to programmed frequency

What is TISC Pro format? Can i give the register values in text format?

Sachin,

TICSPro is our programming software at ti.com/tool/TICSPRO-SW. It can be used to give a visual represnetation of what the regsiters mean.
But if you don't use that tool, registers in hex format will work.
