LMX2595: LMX2595 Lock Troubleshooting

Hello all,

I am using LMX2595 chip.

In few of these chips (used close to 25) there is a problem with locking.

Either it doesnt lock or locks to a different frequency.

The Input,code, PCB, everything is common for all the chips.

How do I go about troubleshooting this problem.

I have probed the impedences ,voltages, and SPI commands all seem to be fine.

Please guide me how do go about debugging

Hi Narendra,

Have you evaluated the TI EVM board using Ticspro GUI? If so, please send over the .tcs file. (Go to Ticspro -> File -> Save)

Hi Hao,

I have made my custom board.

The register values are extracted from TICS pro GUI.

Only 20% of my boards have this problem

Hi Narendra,

Can you please restore your settings in Ticspro and send over the .tcs file mentioned in the previous response? I need to see your settings before making any suggestions.
