LMK00301: Does LMK00301 support PCIE4.0? LMK00301 or LMK00338

Part Number: LMK00301
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK00338,

Hi

PCIE 4.0 needs to be supported with 6 or 8 clocks, so 4.0 clock buffer is needed. In addition, HSCL level output does not need external end-to-end matching.

Does LMK00301 support PCIE4.0? Why does LMK00338 of the same series not support it? What optimization has LMK00301 done? Which is more commonly used, LMK00301 or LMK00338, or is there a cheaper recommendation for another commonly used price? I want to use it directly.

The current concern is that they all seem to meet the requirements of PCIE 4.0, but the LMK00338 specification has not written to support PCIE 4.0, only to support PCIE 3.0.

This is true from the surface description of the manual, but LMK00338 should be OK from the point of view of the specific jitter parameters of the manual. Help confirm which model is recommended.

Thanks.
