    Hi Jonathan,

    The FSK rate restriction is set by the loop bandwidth as well as the frequency deviation. You can use PLL Sim to estimate the lock time from fo to fo+delta f, where delta f is the frequency deviation. A higher FSK rate will require higher loop bandwidth in order to reduce lock time.

    We don't suggest PSK, which I think is not robust enough.
