CCS/LMK05028EVM: lmk05028 refin0 have spur from refin1

Part Number: LMK05028EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK05028

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi Team,

Our spectrum analyzer project in ZTE found some LMK05028 problems.

Problem 1:

Change the 10MHz ref0 input signal to 10.1MHz for 10 seconds. Change the ref0 input back to 10MHz. We found that the dpll can’t lock to 10MHz and can’t lock for a long time.

I was told that TI has fixed this issue in TI lab, but can’t generate the tcs file. Please send me the raw data of the working configuration.

Problem 2:

LMK05028’s isolation between REF0 and REF1 is bad. REF1 is 10.00001M and REF0 is 10M. We can see a 10.00001M spur at the output, when turning off the REF1(=-100dBm), the spur disappears. It seems that REF1 is coupled to REF0 in the MUX. We want to turn off the REF1 and keep the REF0 turned on.
