LMK04906: Waiting time

Part Number: LMK04906

Hi team,

The following settings are made when using LMK04906. (Refer to the "Settings for LMK04906" below.)

The following 26 settings are made each time this LMK4906 is actually used.

I'm waiting for 10ms waiting time between 1 and 2, but would you teach the proper value of the waiting time after setting this 1 (R0 INIT) (recommended value by the manufacturer?).
In actual operation, various settings are used many times, so the more the number of uses, the longer the setting time will accumulate, resulting in a longer actual operation time. I'm having a hard time not knowing how to shorten this waiting time.

Settings for LMK04906
1.0x80160200(R0 INIT)
waiting time 10ms
2. ...
...
26. ...

  • Hi Tom,

Worst case it takes a few hundred nanoseconds for the reset to complete. With 32 bit SPI sequences, even at 50MHz (the maximum supported frequency) it should still take >1.6µs to complete the subsequent transaction, which is guaranteed to be slower than the duration required for the reset to take effect. So the waiting time can completely be omitted between R0 init and R0 normal.

    Regards,
