LMK1C1102: LMK1C1102

Part Number: LMK1C1102

The Vol of the part is Vdd * 0.2 at 1.8 V Vdd and 1mA output.  What is the Vol at 100uA and 1.8v Vdd.?  I am driving a CMOS input with a max Vil of 0.2Vdd as well.  I think this part may work as when driving a CMOS input the current at steady state ( after fall) will be in the uA range.  Can you tell me the Vol at lower output currents?

  • Hi Keith,

VOH/VOL specs are given a very wide margin. I checked some of our characterization data and found that even at 1.8V - 5% and highest rated temperature, we still saw worst case VOH at VDD * 0.9, and VOL at VDD * 0.04, at the same 1mA test condition, with very little spread in VOH/VOL levels (~10mV) across temperature and multiple parts.

At lower input currents, the VOL will be much lower than Vdd * 0.2. Driving a high-impedance CMOS input with µA-range steady-state current draw, you will have no trouble meeting the 20% VIL spec of your device input.

    Regards,
