My customer is using 555 timer "LMC555CMMX/NOPB " and he wants to know the minimum one shot pulse that can be generated by this IC in monostable mode.

He need a one shot pulse width of 1 nano second. thank you.

I found in a link (below) posted by our previous Applications Engineer regarding the most frequently asked questions for monostable operation. There is a table that states the minimum output pulse is 1us. I have reached out to him to find out how these numbers were determined.

I have confirmed the results in the table provided are measured values for these devices. 1us is the minimum 1 shot pulse that can be achieved.
