LMX2594: How to DC couple LMX2594 output RFOUTB to CDCLVP1204 LVPECL input?

Part Number: LMX2594
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCLVP1204

Hi,

I have an application where I need to split the LMX2594 output to two devices. I am planning on using the Ti part CDCLVP1204 (LVPECL output splitter) to split this output, and the connection must be DC coupled since there will be necessary gaps in the transitions.

Unfortunately the LMX2594 data sheet isn't terribly detailed on its output characteristics, so it is difficult to determine if they can be compatible.

It simply states "This will have a minimum voltage of about 2.3 V and a maximum of 3.3 V." Is this differential voltage? single ended? At which frequency is this? What is the common mode voltage?

The CDCLVP1204 part specifies an input common mode range of 1 to VCC - 0.3, and differential peak to peak of 0.1V to 1.5V.

From the information above, I cannot ascertain if these parts are compatible, or if they will need some type of external termination to DC couple properly.

THank you for your support
