DAC80502: Is there any setting that needed to be done when switching to the external VREFIO

HI

My customer is currently interested in DAC80502, and they are having a question regarding the reference power supply.

They noticed that DAC80502 uses internal reference voltage 2.5V by default, and wondered if any attempt is required for changing mode the external:

For example, when 5V external reference voltage is used to supply the VREFIO, is it ok to just switch Internal to External through SPI? Or is there any other adjustments that needed to be done?

    Hi,

    From hardware perspective no change required. After power up, you need to change the reference mode from INT to EXT using SPI commands.

    Please make sure that proper REF_DIV and GAIN settings are chosen  based on external reference voltage and power supply.
