BOOST-DAC8568: 5V output

Hello Guys,

Schematic of BOOST-DAC8568 shows it uses the 'A' variant with 2.5V output. Is it possible to make it into 5V by replacing IC on the board with other variants of DAC8568?

Or is there a module similar to the BOOST-DAC8568 that uses a C or D variant?

    Hi Art,

    Yes, you can order a sample of either the C or D variant of the DAC8568 along with the BOOST-DAC8568 and swap the devices yourself. It looks like the DAC8568EVM does use the C variant, but this is not a BoosterPack that can connect with the MSP430F5529 LaunchPad. However, you could still wire up the pins of the LaunchPad to the corresponding pins of the DAC8568EVM.
