Is it possible to interface and run the ADS1278 evaluation board using python scripting instead of the ADC Pro software or is there a way to initiate script based commanding using the software?

    Hello Steven,

    Welcome to the TI E2E Community!

    Unfortunately, there is no way to write your own scripting language for this evaluation platform.  The ADCPro software GUI and the MMB0 data capture card are a closed system.

    The ADS1278 is a simple device to communicate with.  There are no internal registers; all modes of operation are configured with hardware pins.  You can interface to a standard SPI port for data rates less than or equal to 105,468sps (Fclk=27MHz).
