ADS9110: 5V IOs version planned?

Team,

Do we have plan for a 5V IOs version of the ADS9110?
If not what would you suggest as voltage translator for 1.8V to 5V on the digital interface?
Do we have SAR alternatives with 5V IOs that would have comparable performance (18Bits, 2 MSPS)?

Hello AnBer,

There are no plans for a 5V IO version of ADS9110. ADS9110 is our best option for an 18b, 2MSPS device.

The ADS9110 offer's several communications options, including enhanced SPI, which allows full throughput using a single SDO at 40MHz SCLK speed. You can also use dual SDO and Quad SDO to further reduce the SCLK speed to 20MHz and 10MHz for full throughput.

There are multiple voltage level translator options. The SN74LVC2T45 is a good choice for translation between 1.8V and 5V.

At the end customer is looking at 3.3V IOs. Would SN74AXC4T774 be an option too?

Hello AnBer,

Yes, the SN74AXC4T774 is a good option for 1.8V to 3.3V translation. It is a better option than SN74LVC245 in this case since it has lower propagation delays.
