Hello,

What is the SDOUT state of the ADS54J42 when the SEN is high?

Does it go into a high impedance state?

My customer wants to use SPI lines in common with other devices except for the chip select pins.

JH,

SDOUT does not tri-state. It is always driving.

JH,

You will have to use a mux or buffer. You cannot connect SDOUT from 2 or more devices directly together.
