capture option of High speed data converter pro

Hi, TI expert, 

I am running HSD pro with a TSW14J56 and an AFE58JD48, If I uncheck the "continuous capture", set the samples per channel to "65536" and "16" channels, set the trigger option to Trigger mode enable. I use 1K Hz external trigger signal. I successfully captured 1 trigger without. 

if I check the "continuous capture", do I have the software repeat capture data at the 1K Hz trigger signal? 

is it possible to let the HSD keep capture the data at the external trigger signal until manual stop it?
