Hi,

I have a design made from ADS1294R, and I would like to do functional testing with the MMB0, by interfacing to its J4 connector. When I did this, observed the communication problem, its taking long time  - at "Reading registers" stage, but eventually completes reading and Device ID is shown as ADS1294 instead of ADS1294R. At the same time all register values shows zero.

Is this behavior expected, if yes then any possible way out. Request your help here!!

PS: When the ADS1298R ECGFE is connected to MMB0, it works fine.

    Hi Sarin,

    Thanks for the post.

    As indicated by the reference post, there may be some software compatibility issue with MMB0 SW to interface to the ADS1294R. You may want to try to provide an external clock to your ADS1294R hardware by setting the CLKSEL pin low during power-up before running the software GUI.

    Unfortunately, we will not be able to support changes to the MMB0 firmware to meet your needs. It may be easier to verify the functionality with your controller and software.
