ADS1282: ADS1282 24 bit Resolution achieved in this design How is it possible?

Hi Ti Team,

While surfing the internet I found a research paper "Research on a high-precision and high-resolution seismic wave signal acquisition system" which uses ADS1282 ADC and they are achieving 24 bit noise free count at gain 1 and sps=4000,the FIR+SIN digital filter mode. How is it possible to achieve such high resolution at high speed which is beyond datasheet specification. Can you explain. We also need such a performance. I am attaching the pdf file.

Hey Venkatavel,

After reviewing the paper, we're not convinced that they really achieved 24-bit noise free resolution without some additional post-processing. We can talk about it early next week.
