Should the ADS7827's Thermal Pad be left floating?

Will tying the Thermal Pad to GND damage the device in any way?

    Hi Darren,

    It is recommended to solder the thermal pad to the PCB to help with mechanical stability. Because of this, you may tie the thermal pad to GND. It will not damage the device. I have linked a relevant E2E post on a similar topic using the ADS7826 here.
