Hi team,

I got a question from customer.

I have buy the ADS1299EEGFE-PDK, and then I want to use MTALAB to analyses data, so I have two question.

1.In others discussion I have know that TI don’t have support to firmware to matlab, I want to know its there have some Intermediate file when we run the ADS1299EEG-FE firmware which I can direct use MATLAB to read.

2,And when I use the official firmware to save data, can I use matlab to read the raw data by saved files.

    Hi Zhonghui,

    Thanks for the post. Please see my comment below for your questions.

    1. There is no intermediate file from the ADS1299EEG-FE firmware that can be read directly by Matlab. The software/firmware communication is done via a virtual file system called STYX. It is possible to use Matlab to interface to the Styx file, but we will not be able to support development. The source code for this EVM is available for download on the EVM's product page: www.ti.com/.../ads1299eegfe-pdk. 

    2. The software can save the raw data either in ADC output code or converted voltage output as an Excel file. You should be able to use Matlab to read the file for post-processing.
