Could you advice me to solve this problem?

Best regards,

  • Hi Chase,

We received the same question from Louis Han at basically the same time and have merged his thread into this thread.  We are aware of the situation with the ADS131B04 and are looking into what how to best remedy it.  The error is a result of an incorrectly programmed EEPROM on the EVM daughterboard.

I will contact some team members in the AM and they will help identify an appropriate path forward.

  • Hi Collin,

    Thank you for your support.

Yes, Louis and I work in the same team, maybe we forgot to share this issue immediately.

please let me know if there is any update about this issue. Thanks,.

    Best regards,

    Chase

  • Hi Chase,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Please download and install the ADS131M04EVM GUI from the ADS131M04EVM product page. Unfortunately, due to the similarity between the ADS131B04-Q1 and ADS131M04 devices, there was a mix-up in how the EEPROMs were programmed by the CM. For now, you should be able to use the ADS131M04EVM GUI instead since the digital interface is the same in both devices. Your EVM still has an ADS131B04-Q1 device installed (U2); therefore, analog performance will still be as expected.

Let me know if you have any additional concerns and we'll work to correct this as quickly as we can.

    Best regards,

    Ryan
