Hi,

I was provided excel sheet to fill the details for JESD204-IP .

I am unsure about the mode to be filled in the excel sheet.

I searched about mode , i am surprised , there is no detailed information except JMODE, LMFS mode.

Please help, how to proceed further.

i want to use AFE7950 with xilinx ultrascale+ , but when i enter mode with any value like "LMFS=2211" or any value, it's returning "value not found error".

Hi Mohammad,

The mode that is requested is the Jmode or LMFS mode that the device will used in.

If the mode that you are requesting is not found in the drop down menu you can enter the mode into the cells to the right of the drop down menu.

Also, if this request is for the standard IP you are not required to fill out the mode. The standard IP contains several reference designs and documentation which will help you get started.

Thank u for u r reply.

If i understand clearly, standard IP works with any vivado version and also any xilinx devices( mentioned in the drop down list). Correct me if am wrong.

My requirement is to work on latest 2020.2 vivado version and xilinx zynq or xilinx zynq ultrascale+. The IP should be portable to any future migration part numbers.

Hi Mohammad,

In the standard IP package there are several reference designs that cover the range of xilinx devices shown in the drop down list. There are multiple designs that support the zynq ultrascale+ and they will work with the latest Vivado version.
