ADS125H02EVM: The DOUT of ADC is behaving randomly.

Hi ,

I am trying to read the Device ID register of ADS125H02 . I am getting the DOUT/DRDY_N is behaving randomly and is not working properly. I have integrated the design with KC705 Evaluation board using a level translator in between with the ADC evaluation board.

I have attached the screenshot how I was accessing the ADC registers with the SPI connection.

HI Ramesh,

There needs to be a solid ground connection between all of the peripheral devices in order to get good digital communication results.

The DVDD supply is set to 3.3V on the ADS125H02EVM, what is the need for the level translator? You can also depopulate R28 if you want to provide an external DVDD signal to the EVM, as long as your MCU IO supply is within the ADS125H02's DVDD range.
