i wanted to know if there are any analog filters on ADS 1298 board restricting its frequency range or not. Also is there any IC that u recommend which can be used for defib protection.

Hi ismail,

The schematic for the ADS1298ECGFE-PDK is in the Users Guide (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/sbau171a/sbau171a.pdf). The inputs to the ADS1298 device all have the same R/C input combinations so that the input cut off frequency is around 60K.

For defib protection, the circuit you implement would be based on your end equipment classification and the particular safety requirements for that end equipment.
