ADS125H02: IBIS model voltage mismatch

Part Number: ADS125H02
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS124S08, ADS1261

Hi,

We're currently doing an SI simulation which includes the ADS125H02, and we're using the ads125h0x.ibs file for this. For the dout pin, this only contains a 5V model. However, we're using the part with a 3.3V DVDD supply, and it communicates with a part that is also supplied by 3.3V. So, our simulation currently shows an output level of 5V, which is too high. In practice this will not happen, since we use a different supply voltage. Is there any way to get an updated IBIS model to perform this simulation?

Kind regards, Tobias

  • Hello Tobias,

I double-checked and it appears that we don't have the +3.3V information in the IBIS Model for the ADS125H02 as you confirmed.  We also don't have a way to generate the information in a reasonable time frame and our recommendation is to use the +3.3V DOUT/DRDY model in the ADS124S08 model to get a close estimate of how the cells likely perform at +3.3V.  The ADS1261 would be a close IBIS Model as well, but it also does not look to include the +3.3V information.
