Hi there,

 

I understand that TVP5151 (or P/N: TVP5151IPBSR) support Secam video playback, correct?

I have end customer who have difficulties to support this. 

May I know what are the registers settings that I need to take care of for this Secam video playback support?

Please kindly advise.

    Phil, Yes SECAM should be suppoted. To include SECAM in the autoswitch process, the SEC_OFF bit in REG 04h must be set to 0. You can also force the TVP to SECAM mode in REG28h. Are formats other than SECAM working properly? The register settings should be the same. The TVP just needs to detect and switch to SECAM mode. The YCbCr output fromat should be the same as that of PAL.
