DAC38J84: Mystery around "alarm_sysref_sh"

Part Number: DAC38J84

Hello,

Looking at the 0x6C register, I see that there is the "alarm_sysref_sh". The GUI states that :

But in the datasheet, it is marked as reserved :

Is this a 'functioning' alarm? If so, what are CDRV_SER, OSTROBE, 4T?

Thanks

  • Hi,

This is an internal TI reserved alarm used on the automatic tester to test for SYSREF setup/hold time. It is not meant to be used by our customers. Please ignore and mask this alarm when using the DAC38J8x family. Thank you.
